Museum Membership Meeting September 30th 3-5 PM

A public meeting will be held at the Museum on Sunday, September 30th at which time David Bolger and the Bolger Foundation will be recognized for their generous support of the museum's ongoing quest to improve its facilities as well as enhance its interface with the communities it serves.
The new Board of Directors will also be recognized at this time. A concert by the Quinto Cosort will be presented. Details about the concert and the artists can be found below.
 

Quinto Consort

The Quinto Consort is a group of five musicians who play various recorders as well as viola da gamba and renaissance flute. Recorders which date back to the middle ages are a family of woodwinds with no reeds. Music played on these instruments was written mainly before 1800 - but includes contemprary pieces.

The progam scheduled will feature music of the British Isles, American tradiional, European dances and renaissance madrigals. Thr groups has performed at many venues throughout the state. Members include Penny Bambrough, Gayle Black, Barbara Cahn, Mary Comins and Sue Minkoff.
